Approaching donors about year-end tax-benefit strategies in the face of new tax laws.
Charitable deductions are only available when itemizing and the IRS estimates that 65 percent fewer people will itemize because of the much higher exclusion. Will this affect charitable giving at year-end with the tax incentive gone: what options are left to us as a strategy, and how do we talk about these issues with our donors?
