Chamber to Host Business Showcase

Bolingbrook Chamber to host Business Showcase at the Holiday Inn:
Bolingbrook, IL, January 23, 2012: On Thursday, February 2nd the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce will host the first of three Business Showcases in 2012. These events are designed to highlight area business to the community and provide a unique opportunity for residents to explore what the many business in Bolingbrook offer. “Traditionally we held one large expo style event each fall” said Mike Evans, President & CEO for the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, “however we feel this style is more conducive to our community and is easier for our members to participate.”
Thirty exhibitors in all, including a variety of restaurants, will be on hand to welcome guests when they arrive. There is also a cash bar available and an opportunity to win a $100 Promenade gift card. Business professionals will also have the chance to meet and mingle with other business professionals as the showcase will feature an “after hours” theme, a popular concept in chamber networking.
The event’s feature sponsor is Holiday Inn & Suites in addition to being the event host. American Family Insurance, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, Comcast Business Class, and G&W Electric are co-sponsors for the event.
G&W Electric of course is the new manufacturing company that has relocated to Bolingbrook and added over 400 employees to our workforce. “It is a tremendous statement about a company’s moral character when they are so quick to step up and support economic development events such as the Business Showcase series” commented Mike Evans. “It has truly been an honor working with their company’s leadership throughout the entire transition process and we are grateful they have joined the Chamber as a Diamond Club sponsor, our highest level of membership.”
