Bolingbrook Rotary Mac’n’Cheese Bakeoff
[BOLINGBROOK/FEBRUARY 10, 2012] – The Bolingbrook Rotary Club is hosting a Mac’n’Cheese Bakeoff Sunday, March 11th from 5 to 7pm at Tailgaters. Sample original mac’n’cheese recipes prepared by some of Bolingbrook’s finest residents. Rotary is looking for more participants to enter and have their recipes judged.
The winning recipe will win a booth at the Bolingbrook Chamber's annual Taste of Bolingbrook held on May 19th and 20th along with a $100 Tailgaters gift card. Tailgaters will also be offering a buffet meal complete with non-alcoholic beverages and a cash bar will be available. Door prizes and raffle items will be on hand as all proceeds raised at the event along with the sale of the minning Mac 'n' Cheese at the festival will benefit Rotary’s scholarship fund for local high school students.
Tickets can be bought for $20 at Tailgaters or at www.bolingbrookrotary.org. Kids under 12 are $5 and kids 3 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door as long as tickets are still available.

Founded in 1975, Rotary Club of Bolingbrook meets each Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at Ashbury’s on Boughton Road. Like all Rotary Clubs, the purpose is to help community leaders get involved in their communities, connect with other professionals, share their time and experience with young people, and use skills to help others.

The Rotary Club of Bolingbrook has donated over $800,000 in scholarships to Bolingbrook students over the past 35 years. The Top Ten dinner is held annually in the month of May honoring the Top Ten percent of the year’s graduating class.
